Our first meeting of 2019 is Monday, January 14th, at the CVTC Energy Education Center.

Talk and Treat time is from 6:00 pm to 6:30 followed by the program and business meeting.

Are you ready for gardening?

Gardeners go to great lengths to nurture their gardens (and keep out the misplaced plants we call weeds.) In return, gardening can be relaxing and have a meditative quality to the mind since it requires patience and concentration.  In return there is often fatigue, soreness, and lower back pain. Think of those aches and pains as weeds in your body’s garden. What is a gardener to do? Gardeners need to build strength and flexibility so their bodies can handle the hard work of gardening. Find out more from Sheri Baemmert, owner of PRAJNA pilates | yoga | beyond. 

Ready to start planting?

You can start now. A milk jug and potting mix is all you need to start seeds outside during the winter months. Susan Girnau will show you how and give hints for success.  It's fun!
