Participate in our 5th Annual Photo Contest, and show off your BEST photos! Here are the rules and guidelines:

• The contest categories are:
  A.  Single Flower or Plant
  B.  Garden or Landscape
  C.  Insect or Animal WITH Flower or Plant
  D.  Off Season or Holiday
  E.  From Years Past
  
  

• Eligible photos, for categories A-D, must have been taken in 2024 with a camera or mobile/cell phone.
  
  

• Eligible photos for category E:
  (1) Must have been taken in 2023 or earlier.
  (2) Never submitted to the ECGC Photo Contest prior to this year.
  (3) Relate to category A, B, C, or D in the subject matter.

• Each submitted photo must be owned by the individual ECGC member/submitter.
  
  
• Up to five photos may be submitted per ECGC member, in any combination of categories, with a maximum of two in a category. Do NOT include any watermarks or other identifying markings.

• Each category will have three winners chosen by professional photographer judges from the Chippewa Valley Photography Club for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place recognition. No photo critiques will be done by the judges. There are no cash awards. This "contest" is simply a fun way to show-off our favorite garden-related photos.
  
  
• The deadline for PHOTO SUBMISSION is Sunday, February 23, at 10:00 PM.
  
  
• Each photo must be sent individually to ellenwynkoop@gmail.com. Include your name and specific category A-E with each uploaded/attached JPG-format photo in an email. Please do NOT submit multiple photos in one email. A confirmation email will be sent for each photo submission. Email Ellen Wynkoop with questions.

• ECGC members will select the People's Choice Awards. A voting poll will be sent (via email) in mid March.

• By submitting photos to the ECGC Photo Contest, you agree to have your photos and name used on the ECGC website, ECGC Facebook page, and/or the Chippewa Valley Treasures Facebook page.

• Photo contest winners will be announced at the April 14th meeting. At that time there will be a slideshow of all submitted photos.
