Low Maintenance Grasses and their Benefits to the Environment

Diane will present the same material at both 1 and 6 pm that day.

Native grasses are low-maintenance plants that provide many benefits to their surrounding environment. In this meeting, you will learn about the multiple benefits they provide, including acting as food and shelter for the larvae of numerous native moths and butterflies, the site preferences and design characteristics of some of the most common native grass species, and the basics of installation and maintenance.
