Join us on Monday, August 5th, at 6:30 for a garden stroll through the yard and gardens of Pat Binder at 6550 Hickory Road.

Pat's "classical rustic" design is influenced by her farm life background.  Features include a corn crib sitting room and a clawfoot tub from her childhood farmhouse.  Wash tubs, milk cans and antique funnels serve as containers for flowers.  As a retired art teacher, Pat taught about Greek and Roman architecture and has several Greek inspired sculptures in the yard.  In 2014 they put in geothermal and a large native prairie.

Parking is available on the road by Pat's home.

We suggest carpooling from Hickory Hills golf course and this has been approved.  Meet there at 6:15 to carpool.  See you there!
