The Carpenter Art Festival is a unique, nature-inspired art show held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is located at the Wisconsin portion of the Carpenter Nature Center, slightly south of Hudson on County Road F.

The intent of this art festival is to draw attention to the Wisconsin Carpenter Nature Center, to inspire people to enjoy a beautiful Midwestern landscape, learn about the importance of this habitat, AND support superb regional artists.
The more developed and well-known larger section of the Carpenter Nature Center is on the Minnesota side of the St. Croix River. The Wisconsin portion is over 300 acres of rolling hills, fields of prairie grass, with oaks, pines and firs.
In addition to high quality, nature-oriented artists and vendors, there will be music, performed all day by award-winning folk singer Thea Ennen. A local winery and brewery will be represented. Live birds and assorted reptiles will also be available for viewing and handling, provided by the Carpenter Nature Center. A variety of good food will be offered as well.
This is the seventh year of the Carpenter Art Festival. It's already shaping up to be the best one yet! The pre-pandemic 2019 Carpenter Art Festival had 50 different high-quality artists and vendors. The same is expected this year. Approximately 1,800 people attended the art festival in 2019.
