Please come join our in-person October meeting. Social time begins at 6:00 PM. The business meeting starts at 6:30 PM. Our guest speaker Anthony Nied starts his presentation at 7:00 PM.

Anthony has a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from UW-Eau Claire; however, after rediscovering his love of wildlife and the outdoors, he went on to earn an Associate's Degree in horticulture from Chippewa Valley Technical College. He became a manager for an Eau Claire lawn care company, and eventually became disillusioned with the amount of unsafe chemicals being used. Anthony studied about organic lawn care, and in 2018, he opened his own business, Safe & Simple Organic Lawns. He specializes in providing natural lawn care and landscaping design, installing pollinator lawns, adding legumes, planting different native wildflowers in grass lawns and using other techniques to reduce toxicity and maintenance expense. This will prove to be an interesting presentation as we learn how to use natural lawn care and landscaping to create a healthier environment on our own property.
