If you were at the last meeting, you may have already registered to bring a dish to the Holiday Party. That's great! But, many food items are still needed to round out the selections and ensure a successful party.

FOOD CATEGORIES

Appetizers — Eight members registered. Zero slots available.

Main Dish — Two members registered. Six slots available.

Side Dishes — One member registered. Seven slots available.

Salads — One member registered. Seven slots available.

Breads — Two members registered. Three slots available.

Desserts — Six members registered. Two slots available.

POTLUCK INSTRUCTIONS

• Our holiday party will take place on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Plymouth United Church of Christ. All attendees are asked to bring a dish with 12 or more servings to share.

• Between 6:00-6:30 PM bring your labeled dish to the kitchen window where a hostess will take it from you. Please do NOT enter the kitchen.

• Your dish should be ready to serve with its own platter/plate/holiday bowl, as well as any serving utensils. Be sure to LABEL all personal belongings.

• Please indicate if your potluck item contains nuts, seafood, or whether it is gluten-free or vegetarian.

• Feel free to bring recipe copies to share.

DONATIONS

• The Eau Claire Garden Club members are supporting four non-profit groups this year: (1) Feed My People; (2) Give a Kid a Book; (3) Eau Claire County Humane Association; and (4) Sojourner House

• There will be containers for monetary donations and boxes for actual item donations. Remember to bring cash and/or your checkbook to help support these important groups.

CENTERPIECE COMPETITION

• Create a special centerpiece for this yearly competition. There are prizes . . . 3rd place, $25; 2nd place, $50; 1st place, $75!

• Drop off your centerpiece creation between 6:00-6:30 PM if you wish to have it included in the contest. Winners will be announced at the end.

FINAL NOTES

• Dress up for the holiday party. Honor this special time together. Our garden club is one big, happy family . . . we can't wait to see you!
